Meet the Stein's

Rabbi Dov and Yaakovah Stein moved to Northbrook and founded Wellsprings Recovery Community in 2024.
Prior to moving to Northbrook, Rabbi Dov grew up in Tampa FL before pursuing studies in Jewish thought and practice in Kfar Chabad Israel, and received his rabbinic training at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown NJ. Rabbi Dov's vision for Wellsprings is informed by his diverse experiences, including his work with Friendship House in West Bloomfield, his current collaboration with the Mind Health Group, and his direct engagement with individuals seeking guidance through the Chabad.org "Ask the Rabbi" platform. His participation in the CPE program with Chabad on Call further enriches his ability to provide compassionate and informed support. His infectious optimism and joyful personality drives his commitment and dedication to his community.
Yaakovah Stein was raised in Teaneck NJ and is a passionate educator, teaching classes and planning programs for women, as well as educating her own 11 children.
